"The Voices of Parkinson's: Prevention, Maintenance and Improvement of the Voice" is a free educational workshop brought to you by the American Parkinson Disease Association Georgia Chapter and the Center for Movement Challenges. Join us at the Center for Movement Challenges on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 12:30-2:30 p.m. for an interactive session exploring how speech therapy strengthens voice, swallowing, and cognition to support safety, independence, and overall well-being. Participants will learn practical exercises for vocal clarity, facial expression, and cognitive engagement, along with helpful eating and swallowing tips. This hands-on workshop is designed for both patients and caregivers to take home tools they can use every day. Speakers include Valeria Gary, M.A., CCC-SLP (Parkinson’s Speech Services LLC, Amanda Smith, SLP (Lasting Language Therapy Services), and Hannah Rhinehart, LPMT, MT-BC, NMT-F™(Perfect Harmony Health).
