Annie Long

About
Annie Long is a dedicated nonprofit leader with nearly 15 years of experience in community engagement, education, and fundraising. Annie is an advocate committed to improving the lives of those affected by Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders. Inspired by her mother’s Parkinson’s diagnosis in 2013, she has devoted her career to connecting people with the resources and support they need to live well. Before joining the Center for Movement Challenges, Annie served as Senior Director of Community Education and Outreach for the Parkinson’s Foundation. As Executive Director of the Center, she continues to champion inclusive, evidence-based programs that promote movement, connection, and hope. She is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work (MSW) at the University of Georgia, focusing on clinical and community practice for individuals with chronic illness.
