About
Denise Formisano is a passionate leader and advocate, committed to making a difference in the lives of those with movement challenges. With a degree in design and minors in marketing and product management from the Fashion Institute of Technology, Denise retired as Vice President of Encompass Healthcare after a 42-year career. Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2014 and Parkinson’s in 2015, she turned to boxing to manage her symptoms, sparking a deep determination to help others. As CEO of the Center For Movement Challenges, Denise has driven initiatives to expand wellness programs for individuals with Parkinson’s, Young Onset Parkinson’s Disease, and other movement disorders, creating a space where community and wellness thrive.
